I recently bought some makeup at Dischem and went for one of the cheapest brands, because as we all know, student struggles. Bad idea.
Essence isn't all that bad, however you can tell that you paid under R150 for all four products. Totally convenient for a student, but is it worth it?
First off the foundation. It's really not that bad, however it doesn't blend well and has a strong fragrance, which usually isn't that good for your skin.
The "Glow to Go" setting spray isn't greeeeaat. It feels great to spritz something onto your skin, but the spray isn't even, so half of your face looks like the milky way and the other half looks normal which is not exactly what you want.
The Lip liner. I don't really use a lip liner, so when i bought this i thought it would do wonders. Instead, i just got frustrated when using it, because it's literally like taking a pencil and lining your lips. well, the colour doesn't come off, so basically poking your lip with a pencil.
The eyeliner is my favorite. I actually buy it on a regular basis. Its a gel like consistency and is therefore quite easy to apply and it stays on for most of the day.
ESsence isn't all that bad i mean, you get what you pay for. not much. But if you're not big into makeup, then it's perfect for you. I'll probs continue using it anyway though.
CHEERS.
