Beauty starts with healthy skin.
To me, if skin isn't well looked after, then no amount of foundation will give you that flawless look, let's be real.
after investing in some seriously expensive products (which took a lot considering i'm on a student budget) i noticed a great change in my skin; and that just from using a good cleanser and exfoliator.
lots of people skip the exfoliating step as they feel it' not that important. well, let me tell you - i was one of those people. before studying at Isa, i don't even think i knew what that was to be completely honest.
an exfoliator removes dead skin cells from the surface and therefore increases product penetration. without proper exfoliation, you're basically just caking on those heavy moisturizers and they're not doing anything.
Sun protection - i think we're all guilty when it comes to this one...
pigmentation is a real thing and it's not cool. spf doesn't only protect your skin from the sun, but also from fluorescent lights and stuff like that. so basically, anything that's blinding when you've got a babalas, causes pigmentation and means you need to smear on that spf.
i purchased the eye-serum on valentines day cause let's just be real #selflove (ok and i was a lil single at the time)
but this bad boy is actually really good for premature ageing and dark puffy circles around the eyes (from crying)(just jokes). its just a good 'add on' if you're extra.
the cleanser, well, that's pretty self-explanatory. it cleans your face from dirt and removes make-up pretty well. next time you come home from a jol and are too dronkies to wash your face and just get straight into bed, don't.
"invest in your skin. it's going to represent you for a very long time."
